Last Mile Electricity owns embedded electricity networks throughout the UK that delivers electricity to over 350,000 customers. As an active adopter of new networks from Independent Connections Providers, our network is also growing rapidly year on year.
Last Mile Asset Management operates and maintains the electricity networks owned by Last Mile Electricity, including a 24/7/365 response capability for network incidents – such as unplanned supply interruptions – and ensuring these are resolved as quickly as possible.
An important part of our service includes framework contracts with approved service providers for emergency response provision, and we are currently looking to expand our roster.
The typical services Last Mile Asset Management is seeking to engage are:-
- 24/7/365 service provision for dispatch to reactive incidents whose nature includes network faults, damages to cable and equipment, and remedial works.
- Provision of LV Authorised Persons and Competent Persons (Craft Teams) to complete LV fault location, and repairs.
- Provision of HV Senior Authorised Persons and Competent Persons (Craft Teams), to complete HV fault location and repairs.
- Provision of civils teams to complete excavation and reinstatement associated with fault location and repairs.
- Management and supply of general materials for repair work, such as cables, cut-outs, joints etc.
- Provision of all necessary before/after incident evidence and system alteration notices to support revenue recovery and maintenance of accurate network records.
Tendering invitations will be to cover our embedded networks within the geographical areas of SSEN (North Scotland and South England), SPEN (South Scotland and North Wales), ENWL, NPG and UKPN.
