Gender Pay Gap Report
At Last Mile Group, we are passionate about fostering a diverse and inclusive working environment. We know that, to do this, we must tackle the gender imbalance within our company and the wider utilities industry, which will in turn reduce our gender pay gap.
The gender pay gap is the difference in average earnings between men and women, regardless of the roles they perform. This is different from ‘equal pay’, which looks at pay differences between men and women carrying out the same or comparable work.
As the gender pay gap legislation requires employers with over 250 employees to report their gender pay gap calculations, only UK Power Solutions is required to report. However, as in previous years, we have chosen to voluntarily report for the other Last Mile Group companies to better understand our gender pay gap and see the impact of the actions we have taken.
Dig Safely
Our ‘Dig Safely’ booklet is full of useful information on the checks to make before you dig and the steps you can take to ensure your excavations are safe, both while you’re digging and in the future. The guidance is aimed at all those who are involved in excavating within the vicinity of apparatus such as electricity cables or gas pipes. It can be viewed on-screen or downloaded.
